Welcome aboard the Little Ark!
The ark in God's Word was the salvation of humanity during the worldwide flood!
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the symbol of the ark! He saves our souls! (Heb. 10:39)
Are you also part of 'us'?
God's Word teaches us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God! (Rom 3:23)
We sin, we miss our mark. We do not keep God's 100% standard!
Take, for example, the 7th commandment of God: Exodus 20:14 'You shall not commit adultery'
Jesus teaches us:
You have heard that it was said to the ancients, 'You shall not commit adultery;'
but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28)
Then who goes free?
And what is the reward?
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23)
But there is salvation possible through Jesus Christ!
And what is unique (unlike all other religions):
- You can receive forgiveness by grace, without works!
- You can become a new person who wants to do what God wants!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has passed away, behold, EVERYTHING HAS BECOME NEW. (2 Cor 5:17)
The purpose of this website is that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name! (John 20:31)
I pray that you may read it in peace with full focus, and that the Holy Spirit of God SPEAKS to you through His Word. And that you may experience that God's Word is the truth!
The direct reason for this website is that I use it when sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others!
Concept of 'the Little Ark'
- Full (and therefore not selective) submission to the Word of God without compromise.
- Only the Word: Read and meditate on the Bible texts about subjects yourself and let it stand as it is written! God's Word asks for faith. Human philosophy is not suited to bind God's Word. Back to the source, not to tradition.
- A select number of subjects from God's Word are on this website:
- Repentance, Faith, Baptism and being filled with the Holy Spirit;
- The Word;
- Walking by faith in Christ;
- Going out and sharing the gospel;
- Giving concepts a biblical meaning. What is 'faith' according to God's Word? Renew your thinking, correct your concepts to God's Word alone!
